How do you use the note finder?

Choose a letter and accidental once. Every panel then highlights playable positions for that written note, and each position can sound its actual octave.

Use the note buttons for a new letter, then Flat, Natural or Sharp to keep the spelling you want to study.

Why does one note appear in several places?

String instruments repeat the same pitch class on different strings and frets, while the piano repeats it in every octave. The staff panels show how octave placement changes the written height.

Enharmonic spellings can share a sounding pitch while keeping different written names. The selected spelling remains visible instead of being silently renamed.

What do the treble and bass staves show?

They show the selected note in useful registers for each clef. Ledger lines appear only when the note sits beyond the five staff lines.
