How do you read interval direction?
Look at the second note relative to the first. A higher second note is ascending; a lower second note is descending.
Read from left to right even when both notes use ledger lines. Stem direction does not decide the answer.
Does this exercise include repeated notes?
No. This direction drill uses only ascending and descending pairs, so every question has a clear higher or lower second note.
